Cartonajes Santorromán S.A. located in Calahorra (La Rioja) and engaged in the manufacture and marketing of corrugated cartonboard containers and packaging has based part of its progress in recent years on a firm commitment to reaching a level of quality higher than the industry average.
Cartonajes Santorromán S.A. has been a family business engaged in the production of cardboard cartons for four generations. It has accumulated 100 years of experience in providing service to its customers.
Its activities include the production and sale of corrugated cartonboard containers, packaging and pallets. To do so we have one of the most modern factories in Spain equipped with the latest technology covering all industries and exporting to European countries.
From the beginning and before the existence of the ISO quality standards we worked with our own quality system which later became the basis for implementation of the ISO 9002 certification which was awarded for the first time in 1996.
At present and following the development of the ISO standards we implement this new integrated management system based on the ISO 14001:2004, ISO 9000:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007 Quality Standards with the same goals and aspirations as always; to be more efficient day by day, to provide the best products and services and achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction. It is of fundamental importance that this objective be reached while protecting the environment and ensuring a high level of occupational health and safety for the people working in the company, both our own employees and subcontracted personnel.
To establish a process of continuous improvement of management by setting measurable goals and objectives.
Commitment to comply with all statutory, regulatory and voluntary norms and standards applicable to our business activity.
We will train our employees to achieve awareness of occupational health and safety issues both in and outside the workstation, to respect and protect the environment and to work towards the satisfaction of our customers and suppliers. We provide the necessary financial and personnel resources for continuous improvement in Cartonajes Santorromán.
We regularly review this policy with the aim of improving and adapting it to changing circumstances and conditions.
